The automation of bolting and connection processes pursues an essential objective: assembly tasks quickly, cost-effectively and reliably done. WEBER has declared this basic idea to the principle of all its equipment and systems. Principle this “WEBER principle” is the process secure screw including fully automatic feeding. Both the compact and powerful Hand Held Devices and the widely configurable fixtured screwdriving systems follow this approach. Sensor, control and drive complement the principle to ensure a customer-optimized plant technology.
Swivel arm
High-tech as a matter of principle
Step 1:
The first fastener is blow-fed into the jaw set through the swivel arm.
Step 2:
The screwdriver bit moves forward towards the fastener, pushing the swivel arm out of the way, closing off the end of the swivel arm with the steel stop plate
Step 3:
While the fastener is being driven into the part, another fastener is blow-fed into the swivel arm.
Step 4:
The screwdriver bit retracts back through the jawset and past the swivel arm, allowing the arm to move back to its original position.
