47 years at WEBER: As time goes by

Press information 2016/08
Pension farewell A. Deliano WEBER

Wolfratshausen – “There are things which actually no longer exist; even if an employee remains true to a company for 47 years”, notes Karl Bujnowski, CEO of WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH. And one more thing: “I am all the more pleased that there are people such as Alena Deliano who have worked for our company for almost five decades. Many thanks for your loyalty, your strength and your many ideas which you have contributed for the benefit of the company”. Alena Deliano came to WEBER in Wolfratshausen on September 1, 1969 to the day. At that time, the company was still managed by company founder Karl WEBER. Deliano began his training as an engineering draftsman. She was not yet aware at that time that this step would impact on 47 years of her life. As a known early riser, she was often the first at work – more often than not, was one of the last to leave the business at night. Her professional path led her in the following years to construction to the sales department, where she has been working since 1975. More than just a few customers associate WEBER automatically with the name Deliano.

Although she has dedicated a considerable part of her life to WEBER, she is looking towards the future without feeling like she is losing anything. “It’s going to be strange to leave the company after so many years. However, I am now also looking forward to a new exciting part of my life which is just for me. I still want to do so much”. While farewelling his most trusted employee, Karl Bujnowski admits: “It won’t be easy to replace someone like her. And whether there are still people today who stay an employer for so long is questionable. She is leaving a mark which we will remember with fondness. I wish Alena Deliano and her family all the very best for this new life on the other side of the WEBER factory door. Many thanks for the time that you have given WEBER”.

We are happy to help you!
